Candy corn utensil holders
These Candy corn utensil holders are such a cute accent for a fall party. The burlap has a rustic feel and the colors of candy corn go with fall hand in hand.
To make your own candy corn utensil holders for your upcoming fall or Halloween parties.
Here is what you need:
Pre cut burlap bunting pennants OR burlap ribbon
Scissors
Hot glue, glue gun
Yellow, orange, white craft or fabric paint
Paint brush
How to make them:
Begin by taking two of the pre cut pennant pieces OR by cutting two identical sections of burlap. You will need 2 per holder, so be sure you have enough.
Start painting the design on the fabric, starting at the bottom and working your way up to the top. Let dry in between colors to prevent them from bleeding into each other. Continue doing this on all of your burlap pieces.
Give each piece at least 2-3 hours to dry and then pair them up, painted sides out.
Add a line of hot glue along one side of the inside edges of the two pieces and press them together. Leave one end open as your flatware will be going in that end.
That’s it, you are done and have some unique table decor for your Halloween or fall party or event.
